You can profile a lot of products that are selling for less on eBay and then resell the same product on Amazon. You can do this both ways, buy on eBay and sell on Amazon or sell on eBay and buy on Amazon.
This is one of the strategies that I use for getting started with ecommerce very quickly. You can add products directly from Amazon as an associate without having to have your own products. You can customize your own domain name.
I used Sony and Canon as examples here, but the likelihood of getting any direct contract with Sony or Canon or Nikon or any of the big brands, it won’t happen until you’re able to purchase a lot of quantity and distribute that quantity, (think Best Buy, CompUSA, etc).

Use Google Adwords to promote your Amazon Store. Google may not allow you to bid on trademark names or use trademark names in your ad, but you can still have your ads still point to your Amazon store. Focus on products that have a higher cost so that your 4-5% will still allow you to make some money from the adwords side of things.
I use the word “easily” a bit too quick. Nothing about ecommerce and affiliate marketing is as “easy” as all that. There is work, dedication, determination and a lot of mindset and solid strategies required to make money. It is “easy” for a lot of people that are there already, but they or you won’t get there without the work.
